The Rimac Nevera R transforms the Nevera from Hyper GT to Hyper Sportscar. Equipped with the next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring system and a next-generation 108kWh battery pack, the Nevera R delivers even more power – 2,107hp – and even sharper handling. Able to accelerate from 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 8.66 seconds, the Nevera R is one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world. And with upgraded EVO2 carbon ceramic brakes featuring a new silicone layer, it’ll stop quickly again and again.
Lower, sleeker, and more aggressive, the Nevera R’s exterior is characterized by clean lines and perfect proportions. A large fixed rear wing and aggressive aero package, including a new diffuser, improve downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. The 21-inch rear wheels and 20-inch front wheels, coupled with the Michelin Cup 2 tyres, reduce understeer by 10% and increase lateral grip by 5%, allowing the Nevera R to lap the Nardo test track five seconds quicker than the Nevera.
Internally, the hypercar features a triplet of high-definition TFT screens (cluster, central screen and co-driver’s display), as well as a host of elegantly tactile billet aluminium rotary controls and switches – providing the driver with a resolutely analogue feel tailored to make use of cutting-edge digital technology. Other electronic elements incorporated by Rimac include real-time telemetry information (downloadable to digital devices) and a Driving Coach configuration, which is capable of overlaying selected race tracks in real-time.
