Welcome to the DB11
The Aston Martin DB11 was first put into production in 2016 after its initial debut at the Geneva Motor Show in the march of the same year. Its the natural successor the widely acclaimed DB9 and is built at the marques factory HQ in Gaydon.
History of V12 Line Up
Debuting with the V12 model and an entirely new drive train and engine platform from its predecessor the DB9, the new 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12 was new not only to the line up but also the first time a turbo charged engine had appeared in the line up.
This new power train delivered 600hp and 516 lb-ft of torque combined with an 8 speed automatic transmission, resulting in a 0-60 of 3.8 seconds and then carries on all the way to a top speed of 200 mph. Updated in 2018 to 630hp.
The DB11 V8
Initially released in 2017, one year after the V12, the entry level sibling came powered by a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 which delivered 503 hp and 498 lb-ft of torque which delivered a 0-60 of 4 seconds and a top speed of 187 mph. In July 2021 this was upgraded to to deliver 528 hp and a 192 mph top speed.
DB11 Volante
The convertible version called the Volante was released in 2018 and shares the same power train as the DB11 V8 coupe but remapped to produce more toque to handle the increased weight from the roof mechanism and supply a smoother ride at low speeds with the roof down.

The DB11 V12 was released in 2016 with the V8 version following in 2017.
The DB11 is available in a V12 and V8 coupe as well as the V8 Volante.
The DB11 is a GT sports car rather than an out and out Supercar with an emphasis on comfort and performance rather than pure performance.
